SCHOONER BAY MARKET PLACE is an upscale SuperMarket, unlike other grocery stores on St. Croix. We are a full service supermarket, but we simply try harder to bring you a higher quality product. Our goal is to sell healthy, high quality food that tastes good, from every department in our store, and to give you choices when you shop!
We have all the departments of a regular supermarket, but we have a big Deli and serve local Caribbean cooked foods to go. We have a GIANT Salad Bar filled with goodies that will make you, and your children, WANT to eat salad. We make over 20 deli salads from our salad case made fresh everyday, and have a healthy Grab n’ Go food case, with homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, salsa, and sauces. We have a small but high quality NY style Bakery, and we make really beautiful custom cakes and breads. We sell local Produce and have some hard to find Produce items. And our Meat and Award Winning Seafood departments are simply the best available on the island.
We have won many awards. Best Sandwiches and Best Lunch on a budget in ALL of the Virgin Islands. Best Fresh Seafood department and Best Beer and Wine selection on St. Croix.
When you shop at Schooner Bay Market you will find standard grocery items, however you will find hard to find items too, like specialty cheeses, gourmet foods, fancy cookies and crackers, European Chocolates, Bulk Natural Foods, and healthy snack foods.
When you come to Schooner Bay Market to shop, we promise you will enjoy yourself! We play oldies Rock n’ Roll and have a small Cafe where you can sit, have a Pina Colada, eat lunch and meet people!
